Eiffel Excellence Scholarship - Master's Degree
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. This scholarship for international students provides funding for mobility of:
- 12 months maximum when enrolling in the second year of a master's degree (M2)
- 24 months maximum when enrolling in the first year of a master's degree (M1)
- 36 months maximum for the preparation of an engineering degree

Master's program directors have until Wednesday, December 3, 2025, to submit applications to the International Mobility Office of the International Relations Department (dri-bourses@unistra.fr).
Results will be announced in April 2026.

Nationality and age
- Be a foreign national: this program is reserved for candidates of foreign nationality. Dual nationals, one of whose nationalities is French, are not eligible.
- Be aged 29 or under: candidates must be aged 29 or under on the date of the selection committee meeting, i.e., born after March 31, 1996.
Eligible training courses
Candidates currently studying in France are not eligible.
The following programs are eligible for the Eiffel Master's Excellence Scholarship:
- Master's degree, including engineering schools;
- Programs accredited by the French government;
- Master's degrees in science accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). The institution must include the Master's degree accreditation and its accreditation number with the application;
- Co-accredited Master's degrees in science. The application must be submitted by the CGE-accredited institution.
The following are not eligible:
- French programs relocated abroad;
- Distance learning programs;
- Programs offered as part of an apprenticeship contract.
Single application
- Applications from students whose applications were not accepted during a previous selection process will not be accepted, even if the application is submitted by a different institution or in a different field of study.
- Applications from students who have already received an Eiffel scholarship at the master's level are not eligible for the same level. However, they may apply for an Eiffel scholarship at the doctoral level.
- Applications submitted by more than one institution will be rejected.
Rejection of multiple scholarships
- Foreign students who are already receiving a French government scholarship under another program at the time of application are not eligible, even if the scholarship only covers social security.
- The Eiffel scholarship cannot be combined with an Erasmus+ scholarship or a scholarship from the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. If a successful applicant finds themselves in this situation, they will have to give up one of the two scholarships. If they give up the Eiffel scholarship, they must inform Campus France, the operator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by email.
- An applicant nominated by more than one institution will have their application rejected.
Preparation and submission of the application file
Applications will be evaluated by the departments and then sent to Campus France.
1. Register using this form to create your login, then log in to fill out the information form. You will need the following information:
- Your diplomas, grades, rank, and classification;
- Your CV;
- The program you wish to study at the University of Strasbourg;
- Download the PDF version once you have completed the form.
2. Prepare the attachments
- Submit one PDF per supporting document;
- Ensure that the documents you submit are of good quality and clear for the evaluation of your application;
- Follow the instructions for file names (see table below);
- Do not exceed the maximum file size (3 megabytes), otherwise you will not be able to send your application.

Your curriculum vitae (CV) written in French or English, on one or two pages, detailing your academic background and professional experience, if applicable. >Last_name_First_name_cv.pdf
Your degrees and rankings: any dated document attesting to your excellence.
Specify your performance: honors, rank, position within the class, number of students in the class, degrees with indication of the specialization, date of graduation, honors, and final grades certified by the institution.

Your transcripts for the last three years, covering your academic career in France and abroad (with certified translations and ECTS -European Transfer Credit System- equivalents, if necessary) > LAST_NAME_First_Name_Grades.pdf

Your career plan written in French or English, on one or two pages.
This plan should explain your choice to study in France in relation to your previous studies and your future career. You may include opinions from people outside the institution, for example from a company.

3. Email your application to the Master's program director before November 21, 2025, copying dri-bourses(@)unistra(.)fr for follow-up.
Your application must include:
- The information form (PDF), and
- All attachments in the requested format (one PDF per attachment, 3 MB max.).
Applications will be evaluated by the departments and then centralized for submission to Campus France.
