First Year Admission

In most cases, you need to complete your administrative registration as soon as you get to Strasbourg. 

If you are pursuing your studies at the University of Strasbourg, you need to renew your enrollment every year.

The enrollment process varies according to the secondary-level degree you own, as well as the course you are signing up for and your profile:

French or European Applicant

You are French and or from Europe, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, Monaco and Andorra.

Your secondary level degree is one of the following:

  • French Baccalaureate
  • European Baccalaureate
  • International Baccalaureate
  • Secondary education diploma awarded by a Member State of the enlarged European Union
  • Secondary education diploma awarded by a non-member country of the enlarged European Union

  • Registration for selective non-university courses (BTS, BTSA, CPGE, engineering schools, business schools, IFSI, etc.)
    Apply on Parcoursup
  • Registration for a selective university course (BUT, DEUST, DU, etc.)
    Apply on Parcoursup

Non-European Applicant Not Part of an Etudes en France Program

You are a foreign applicant who does not come from Europe, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, Monaco and Andorra, and are not doing an Etudes en France program.

If your secondary level degree is a:

  • French or European Baccalaureate

  • Regisration for selective university courses (BUT, DEUST, DU, etc.)

If your secondary-level degree is one of the following: 

  • International Baccalaureate
  • Secondary education diploma awarded by a Member State of the enlarged European Union
  • Secondary school leaving certificate issued by a non-member country of the enlarged European Union

How To Apply

  • Enrolling in licence
    The admission procedure is  DAP Etudes en France
  • Registration for a  selective non-university courses (BTS, BTSA, CPGE, engineering schools, business schools, IFSI, etc.)
    The admission procedure is Parcoursup
  • Registration for a selective university courses (BUT, DEUST, DU, etc.)
    The admission procedure is Parcoursup if the applicant resides in France
    The admission procedure is Etudes en France if the applicant does not resides in France

Non-European Applicant Not Part of an Etudes en France Program

You are a foreign applicant who does not come from Europe, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, Monaco and Andorra, and are not doing an Etudes en France program.
