Welcome Desk at the Train Station

During the last 2 weeks of August, the International Relations Office, EM Strasbourg and the City of Strasbourg greet you directly at the train station. You will find information, advice, tips and tricks to start your mobility on a good note!

 

Back-to-university Welcome Desk

At the start of the new academic year, the University Life Service is setting up a Back-to-university desk to help students at the University of Strasbourg with all the formalities involved in settling in and to provide them with all the information they need about their student card, accommodation, grants, transport, sports, library, culture, health and international mobility.

Welcome Guide

Dedicated to international students, this guide will help you from the first stages of enrollment to settling in in Strasbourg. You will find administrative information (admission, enrollment, teaching) as well as more practical information about the University (campus, associations, student life) and the city of Strasbourg (accommodation, transportation).

International Welcome Days

At the beginning of each semester, the International Relations Office welcomes international students.

The program includes an information meeting, a tour of the campus, lunch at the university restaurant, a discovery rally in the city of Strasbourg and, at the end of the day, an awards ceremony as well as the first Buddy Night.

International Researchers Guide

The University of Strasbourg came up with a Welcome Guide for international PhD students and researchersto help them settle in and answer many of their administrative and daily life questions.

Info' Sessions Euraxess

Every first Wednesday of the month, the Euraxess Services Center organizes an Info' Session. During this session, you will receive information on the administrative procedures when arriving in France (visa, healthcare), details about your daily life in France, and insights into different social customs (to bise or not to bise?). This presentation is designed to welcome new researchers throughout the year and provides an opportunity to ask questions about one's specific situation.

Euraxess Strasbourg's Newsletter

Roughly three times a year, the Euraxess Center publishes a Newsletter in English. It gives information about past events and activities, experiences, tips, important information regarding administrative procedures, and upcoming events.

Welcome Event for International Researchers

At the beginning of the academic year (usually in October), the Euraxess services Center of the University of Strasbourg organizes a Welcome Event for international researchers.

During this event, we formally welcome you to Strasbourg in the company of university officials.
