A Wide Range of Cultural Activities

The University Cultural Service

The University of Strasbourg's Cultural Service (SUAC) is dedicated to fostering cultural and artistic engagement within the university community. Throughout the year, SUAC collaborates with university departments, student associations, regional cultural institutions and associations to organize artists' residencies, cultural events, and workshops. Additionally, SUAC oversees the Carte Culture for the Bas-Rhin region and operates the La Pokopa university performance space in conjunction with Crous.

La Pokop: University Performance Venue

The Paul Collomp performance space, nicknamed "La Pokop" is the result of a collaboration between the Crous and the University of Strasbourg. It offers young artists a space for artistic creation, experimentation and performance on the Esplanade campus.

Artist Residencies

The University of Strasbourg has hosted artists for almost 30 years. The SUAC has now chosen to enhance this practice by inviting not only renowned artists but also young creators.

SPACS

The University of Strasbourg's Social and Cultural Promotion Service, known as SPACS, is a comprehensive department dedicated to fostering, coordinating, supporting, and executing various social and cultural initiatives relevant to the university's personnel. SPACS provides a diverse range of cultural and sport activities.

SPACS activities cater to the university's active employees, their spouses, children, and other dependents. This includes any researcher affiliated with the University of Strasbourg, whether they are enrolled or unenrolled doctoral students, research fellows, invited scholars, Unistra contract staff, or CNRS employees.

For select activities, SPACS offers reduced rates exclusively to Unistra staff and their dependents, which are referred to as SPACS Subsidized Activities.

The CEZAM card offers reduced rates for cultural, sports, and recreational events through collaborations with partner organizations, benefiting University employees and their eligible family members, including spouses, partners, and children up to the age of 21.

The cost of the CEZAM card depends on one’s affiliation:
