Starting in the late afternoon, students enjoyed a gourmet buffet featuring carefully selected wines and iconic cheeses. Guided by the IR team, they explored the nuances of food and wine pairings in a relaxed yet enriching atmosphere.
On the menu: Alsatian flavors were put under the spotlight, featuring a Crémant, a Gewurztraminer, and a Pinot Noir, not to mention a wide variety of options for everyone: non-alcoholic beverages, charcuterie, fruits, and sweet treats to round out the evening.
As for activities, several partners contributed to the event. The Alumni service and Campus France ran a game called “Alumni Pong,” which quickly became a crowd favourite. The CROUS was also present, alongside the International Relations Office, offered an activity focused on French culture. The Strasbourg aime ses étudiants team organised trivia quiz with prizes to be won.
The warm and festive atmosphere greatly contributed to the evening’s success. Between lively discussions, culinary discoveries, and shared moments, the students fully enjoyed the event; some even settling outside to savor their drinks, attracting new people.
The event wrapped up shortly before 8 p.m., marking a resounding success in terms of both the quality of the discussions and the turnout.
