 Before my arrival

Erasmus is the leading exchange program for European students.
It allows students to spend 2 to 12 months at a partner university in Europe (the Erasmus program has 33 partner countries, including France) while validating their course at their home university.

The application process

Please follow the steps below to submit your application:

1] Check with your university's international relations office to see if there is a student exchange agreement between your university and the University of Strasbourg. Check the admission requirements
2] Consult the University of Strasbourg's course catalog and grading scale. Contact the international exchange coordinator for your program to arrange a course schedule.
3] Submit a pre-selection application to your home university.
4]  Submit your application online to the University of Strasbourg only if you are selected by your home university. The link to the online application will be sent to you after your nomination by your home university.
5] You will receive a letter of acceptance if your application is accepted by the University of Strasbourg. This document will include the dates of your mobility and the International Student Welcome Day.
6]Register at your home university before the start of your mobility.

The French language level required

A B2 level of French is generally recommended for study abroad at the University of Strasbourg.
However, some faculties may require a specific level.

Check directly with the international relations officers of the faculty where you plan to study.
