On Saturday 21 March, the Euraxess Centre gave around twenty researchers and PhD students the opportunity to visit Strasbourg. Accompanied by a guide from the Tourist Office, we spent two hours exploring Strasbourg’s historic centre in glorious spring sunshine, from Place de la Cathédrale to Place Gutenberg, via Petite France. It was an opportunity for our international researchers to (re)discover their new home city thanks to explanations in English about Strasbourg’s history and culture. The participants were delighted with this new initiative from the Euraxess Centre to support their socio-cultural integration!
Keep an eye on our news! A second tour will be organised this spring, focusing on the remarkable buildings of the European District.
